David BrownA very large proportion of my career has been in the IT Industry involved in the implementation and delivery of Business Application Software. My success as an implementer of business software is largely due to the extensive

As an Associate Director at KPMG Consulting I was trained in their delivery methodologies which included Corporate Performance Management, Business Process Improvement, Change Management and Programme Management. Whilst at KPMG I successfully managed a number of very large Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management Projects based on Infor PM and MS SQL both in Singapore and Hong Kong.

After KPMG I moved to Behringer as their CIO responsible for managing a large Project Portfolio, IT Strategy and IT Operations. We adopted ITIL for managing our customer facing services, and I put into practice a Business Performance Management programme for our IT Services based on my experience at KPMG.

I am now working as an Independent Consultant focused on delivering Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions. This involves advising clients on adopting a Business Process Improvement culture based on analysing their critical performance metrics, developed from various frameworks i.e. SCOR, Balanced Scorecard, Six Sigma etc. Between contracts I am leveraging the experience I gained whilst acting as a part time lecturer at the Singapore Institute of Material lecturing on Supply Chain Intelligence and Business Process Improvement.

After 18 years working in Asia I relocated to Germany to gain more experience working in Europe. More recently I moved to Malta, for my daughter’s education, and spend time working between Europe and Asia.
